It was rather unexpected to find someone to go down to Tampines One with me.. Cos i already tried, people who would be free, turned out to be un-free..
In de end, woke up this morning, found out that someone went for wisdom tooth extraction n had mc till friday.. haha.. Nice one la Terence.. Quickly, i asked him and straight away, agreed.. Done deal..
So Tampines One was a breath of fresh air.. Cos it's different from TM or Century.. And even during weekdays, late afternoon after the lunch crowd, it is still packed!! WTF.. It looked like a heeren on a weekend.. Tampines had suddenly become orchard road.. haha..
And Uniqolo, or whatever the spelling, still had a queue.. Seriously, over-rated, but i guess since Japanese has good fashion, people are drawn to it..
Like what terence said, "it's just a japanese giodarno".. Rightly so.. But topman is also just a british giodarno.. People were and are still crazy about it..
I guess it's just the image in ppl's mind.. It shows how vain we are all.. They are all "giodarnos" in their own right, but some are just more popular than others..
The grass will forever be greener on the otherside..
