Bad start.. Good finish??

So apparently, i have giordano vouchers, hang ten vouchers, baleno vouchers and bosini vouchers.. haha.. I cant believe you guys actually remember the "prank" i played last time.. You dont say, i wont have remember it liao.. haha good one.. I can go get plain tees liao.. Swee.. Four same colours but diff brand.. Ill be a fashion statement man! woo!!

This week aint that bad really.. I tot go back camp sat means buang liao.. Goner.. But.. by mon nite, i am out!! Woo!! So the plan for this week is this.. Book in Wed nite, den thurs afternoon book out again.. Den fri morn go east coast for live run den book out! Nicely done..

GPMG live firing was a waste of time.. everyone was to fire 50 rounds.. u think, 50 rounds alot what.. But not to a gpmg.. Firing 50 rounds in a machine gun is like no kick.. I took less than 30 secs to fire off 50 rounds.. I book in one whole day just to shoot less than 30secs.. WTH!

Den yst got CBRE training.. Chemical, biological, radioactive, explosive training.. haha i tink it's that.. But i was training for chemical defense.. But i was excuse the chamber so i could book out early.. learn theory only.. What u do is basically learn to wear the suit to protect you from harmful gases in the battlefield.. Den there is a confidence test, where u go into the chamber and tear gas will be released inside den u do PT inside to make sure ur suit is put on properly.. As i have history of asthma, auto excuse out of it.. haha.. nvr chao keng le!!

Den wed nite book in for SOC test on thurs morn.. Waste of time cos we know everyone will fail.. Our schedule is so pack now, we only have PT twice a week.. One is a weekly live run to clock the Army half marathon, da other is either a SOC/IPPT test or training.. So they expect us to be fit for test with just that little amount of training.. Army is too regimental that it becomes illogical and stupid.. What to do?? Suck thumb..

Thurs aft test, book out.. Prob go out with my battery mates who will come out of Detention Barracks on that very day.. A cause for celebration.. Den fri go straight to east coast for live run.. Yes! My live run now at east coast.. damm shiok.. but i guess, it is temporary only.. enjoy it while it still lasts!!

Den sat got soccer at cage!!! This week is gonna be good.. yea man!!

Morton's The Steakhouse..

So before i booked in for my ultra sian weekend on sat, my family celebrated me n my brother's bday on fri nite.. yup, we both have the same birthday but not of the same year.. intelligent planning by my mum, save money on cakes n presents..

We went to Oriental Mandarin Hotel.. Just beside Marina Square.. I did not know the Brazil Team were staying there.. I knew they were in Singapore, but my bro told me it was Marina Mandarin that they stayed in.. So, it was not only until my bro went to the toilet, that he saw Jo, the brazilian striker whom just signed for Man City.. I told my bro, why din you tell Jo he signed for the wrong manchester club?? And if u see ronaldinho, tell him he was an idiot to not sign for Man Utd.. haha.. Yes, Ronaldinho almost sign for man utd some years back, but he chose Barca, see now what is he like now?? Treated like garbage and kicked out.. Apparently, the team were in a conference room beside the toilet, but there were guards there, so no one could enter also.. If not, wouldnt mind going in and see the samba players..

Carrying on, we ate at Morton's Steakhouse inside the hotel.. It was fine dining.. Really classy place.. And no one told me it was fine dining, so i was underdressed in T-shirt n jeans.. Nice.. Morton's is the kinda place where u really go for a special occasion, it's not the swensen once in a month go kinda place.. Cos firstly, it's bloody expensive and lastly, it's still bloody expensive..

Prob the cheapest steak there cost $80+.. So yea, my family of four ate a total amount of $500++.. But quality was there.. So not too bad.. So let me intro the food that we ate..

Oysters.. Thou it was wiped out already, i din eat it, cos yucks! haha

The real deal.. Lobster, weighing 3.5pounds.. Extremely huge i tell u..
This is the claw, almost twice as big as the crab's claw.. imagine that!
Here comes the side dishes.. 1. Cheeeeeeese Macaroni.. Was damm power, the top layer was crunchy!
And no.2 Sauteeeeeed Mushrooms.. Looked like it came from chinese restaurant, but taste much better than it looked!
The main course.. Sirloin Steak.. POWER!!
In case you wonder how thick it is, here it is in comparison to a table spoon..

And their dessert, definitely did not lose out either.. Hot chocolate cake! When u cut the cake, the hot chocolate oozes out.. Comes with hagan daz wanilla ice cream!!

And we ended with, chocolate suflee ! okay, i dunno how to spell it! haha
Overall, great experience, wonderful time.. and extremely full stomachs!

Okay, now about the legendary bread.. When we ask if we could take away our unfinished steak, cos we cant finish due to the overwhelming food, the waiter said why not.. and told us that many ppl also request that becos of the legendary bread.. Apparently, some ppl, ate soo much of the bread, they did not even touch their steak.. LEGENDARY BREAD that beat the $80+ steak!! Own sia..

And the staff there are really very friendly.. really experienced waiters who can joke with the customers.. And i heard them sing the birthday song like 10+ times thru out the whole nite?? Cos alot of birthday celebrations are held there, just like mine.. haha.. Truly for special occasions..

Weekend burn!! Have to book in sat evening.. Could have book in later.. Thanks to our cocked up QM who indented dinner for f**k.. So we have to book in sat evening to eat indented food.. what a way to spend the weekends..

So book in for what?? Going live firing of GPMG.. Whats that? Its a machine gun that you zhua around to kill army personnel like me during war.. so dont mess with me cos im highly trained! This is like my second live firing this week.. First was my combat shoot on tuesday.. Whats that?? Its a detail of soldiers firing targets individually and as a team as well.. In short, team firing but without movement.. We just stay in fox hole and fire.. It was damm bloody wasted that my detail did not get marksman.. Short of 9 shots from marksman.. Really damm sian.. After one full day of firing, and to be short of 9 shots, haiz.. du lan la..

Live firing is cool.. Firing real rounds, once in a life experience.. but also sian.. Cos alot of sai kang to do.. After firing den must clean arms.. One of the bad experiences in life.. And i guess they made us come back on sun to do live firing is cos our schedule is too packed.. I still have one more live firing to go, fire the methadol.. dunno how to spell it la.. its like the bazooka.. fire at tank one.. you get the idea.. Sucks to have a schedule as pack as this..

I guess thats all i can complain about man.. All about NS.. Cos my life is NS now.. I cant complain stuff like ERP rise ah, KNN.. Or chicken rice now $3, WTH!! And i really din noe chicken rice increase price till quite late.. Really lost touch with the world.. Cant wait for ORD already..

That aside, my bday is coming.. Wishlist? A white shoe, a denim jeans, a new cap.. thats what i would prob want right now.. 21 liao le.. not a kid very long time ago and no longer a youth.. gotta start planning my future and make those "adult" decisions.. but what i dont wanna lose?? the joy in my life.. a session of soccer with friends, challenging ppl winning eleven and winning it on my psp, hugging my soft toy tiger when i sleep, the simple pleasure of my life, i dun wanna lose.. Although i already lose part of my joy a few months back, and ive just been finding things to fill up that space left, but still not there yet.. So still hoping for something to happen..

The Dark Knight totally rocks.. Really the best movie i've seen this year.. That sums up every good thing about the movie.. The bad? That i watched it at 1230am and i was tired and my eyes were dry cos of contacts.. I did not sleep in the show of cos, cos it's the best liao.. Just that i wished i could have watched it in a more comfortable state..

So now im having a movie frenzy.. Getting alot of drama series to watch.. I just watched finish Prison Break Season 3.. And its power.. The same thrills as season 1.. Unlike the sucky season 2, where they are all running away.. But there will definitely be a season 4 cos of the ending.. One of the better drama series i've seen.. Another one i recommend, The Office.. Featuring Steve Carrell, the guy in Get Smart.. Yea, not bad too..

Movie wise, i just caught Mr Magorium Wonder Emporium, kinda like a kiddy childlike show, you know, stuff about magical toy store.. yea.. kinda lame for me to watch, but once i start, i will tend to finish it, unless it really too lame.. Now catching Police Academy.. Yes, it is that old movie last time.. We watched it as kids and it freaking hilarious.. Watching it now, it reminds me of army daze cos of all the fanciful characters.. The beatbox black guy is freaking hilarious..

Anyway.. two of my battery mates gonna get post out, cos they temporary down Pes.. Its sad cos no one wants them to go.. Really gonna miss both of them.. Although it means now the driver position is open, and i dont mind being one, but i'd rather they stay and i remain a ammo party..

I just read about ERP system this morning in the newspapers and i received this email from my friend, so decided to post it up.. Its really insane prices now.. $5 for one of the ERP gates at CBD area.. $5 for ONE gate.. WTH!! Taking cab to work could be like $50 now..

Massive Jam + insane jumping of taxi meter + countless ERP gates + booking of cab ( hard to get cab in the morning, and when you are late, trust me, you need to book the cab) = $50

So i caught hellboy 2 yst.. It was really disappointing.. Im sorry Mat, i am not picky when it comes to movies, HP is.. it's true.. There just wasnt enuf action in that movie.. They showed the history of golden army with stick figures, how good can that be?? And there wasnt enuf air time for the golden army.. Just wasnt cool enuf for a comic book action movie.. I tink the session that involved laughing at shuying, correction, laughing with shuying, was more funny that hellboy.. hahaha.. EXAXERATE!!

sian to the max ah!!!

Sian... guard duty ate my weekend.. What's worst?? Knowing that straight after guard duty, i have to go jurong camp help out at tiger trail.. Some of us may know the feeling of a 24hr duty guard duty, after it ends, shagged out, den still got to do sai kang, den after sai kang, cant even sleep on comfortable bed, only can sleep on hard ground at the multi purpose hall.. typing this out already made me feel damm sian..

Everyone complains about NS, and it really shows that you really cant do something that you don't wanna do.. Which made me think what if i become an accountant next time.. the endless accounts to do, many deadlines to meet.. do i really want to suck thumb and just earn the big bucks and lose my life?? From what i know, a few of my ministry members are adult cgs, and they say their members who are accountants sometimes never go cg cos got to be at the office..

i dunno why i tink until so far also, i guess the degree of sian-ess is very high right now..
