Achilles Heel.. OKAY WHAT!

I find myself unable to defend myself when i say i dont have a very smooth NS life.. Yes, maybe better compared to a real chiong sua unit like Guards or Infantry, but definitely not like the most slackest.. I still have IPPT, SOC, guard duties, standbys, major events that dont really concern me that i still have to do sai kang for.. Like carpark attendents, marshallers, etc..

Cos it's true that my unit do these kind of sai kangs.. If there was a riot, we will not be called in to subdue it, those combat groups will do it, as for us, we do the sai kang, we usher the civillians away.. That's the nature of my unit, sai kang..

So as i am currently enjoying my leave/off duration, i feel many people getting on my back with it.. Comments like " Aiya everytime stay in like never stay in liddat", or "You forever off one la".. My privallages come with a price.. Just as i have burnt a few weekends over standbys, i get them back n spend it on weekdays instead, so it seems like i have a shorter week, but really, i deserved it.. I remember almost 3 weeks in a row not being able to go service cos of weekend guard duties and standbys..

And soon, i gonna burn alot of weekends again.. Standby is coming, another local exercise is happening, and it happens on a sunday, and when everyone is on off on the following tuesday, i wld be doing guard duty.. Seriously, all these comes with a price and i dont expect you guys to understand cos you guys down PES.. Try a weekend guard duty, or a weekday guard duty in fact to see how shag u will get.. Turn outs, turn until you upside down ah.. You dunno only..

I'm just saying all these here, cos i feel i no time to defend.. So, No, i wont take it lying down..

On a side note, i think everyone has their achilles heel, and we always "complain" about it.. Like for amos, he needs the freedom, that's why he always take so long when we meet up, cos he like to OTOT.. And also, he just complains about NS alittle more than others.. For Jx, do not like to be controlled, that's why he must come up with so many problems and even a recourse 7 week BMT also cannot go through normally and also argue with the MO.. Or like Van, who needs the security, that's why she cant stand it if she isnt the exclusive one to Hp..

I guess mine, plainly obvious, i need the company.. I need a partner.. I like the idea of doubling your joy and half-ing your pain.. And we all do these little complains in our blog, but it's okay, it's natural to have a need.. OKAY WHAT!! So Amos, just bloody hell complain every little shit thing you can about NS, cos it hell does suck big time... Dun give chance only.. haha
