When you were young..

Schooling..

Reading Van's blog entry made me thought about schooling.. Times where i was the head, and not the tail.. Sec 4, POA top student.. Those were the "nerdy" days man.. Its kinda of an interesting experience, cos i never was top ever in class for anything.. So how'd it felt?? Well, it felt great in fact.. Ppl keep coming up to you and ask " eh, how much you got for the POA test??" And being totally human, people tend to wanna compare with the best only.. For e.g, as my grades suck real bad in TP, no 1 even bothers to ask my marks, every1 wants to know about this and that clever person's marks.. A real far fetched from my sec skool days.. Haha!!

So why do they wanna compare wif the best?? To feel a sense of achievement.. They will go like " yes! i beat so and so at this subject le!!!" So actually, each POA test i took, was like a battle against the world! Every1 wants to beat my score! Of cos, if you arent the top, it wld feel sucky, not cos you din try your best, but cos of all the ppl around you tat told you they had higher scores and gloat about it.. It may not be cynical, but it sure doesnt do well with one's pride.. And no offence to those who scored higher, cos i wld do the same if i beat the best.. Who wldnt??

But what was the BEST part about it?? It was when the "gloaters" scored high marks and felt they have a 90% chance of topping me but when they found out my score, they cant gloat anymore.. i tell you, it was a picture pefect moment.. their disappointed face and my smug face.. HAHA!! Den they will tell me stuff like " aiya, if i din do this wrong sure can liao la" or " i was too careless" and stuff like tat.. And i would go like "fight with the best, die like the rest" in my mind... MUAHAHAHA..

And just a side note, my manager sucks big time.. No manager would take A WEEK'S leave at the company's busiest period.. Thats how bad my manager is.. Thats all i have to say about her..
