Yes Yes... here i am again.. Blogging at the wrong time.. Project yet to be completed and exam in a few hours.. Why Jerry?? Why??
I got no answer to that... Just felt i had to blog about yst.. So what happened yst??
I went for the ASEAN cup final at Kallang Stadium!!! At first i was supposed to watch at home cos i knew da nxt day i got test and i din 1 2 travel so far also.. But, my bro was sick, n he had a free ticket.. SO i decided, chances like this aint gonna come by..
1. A FREE ticket to ASEAN cup final
2. This is da last game to be played at Kallang Stadium
3. All tickets were sold out
4. Have an experience of a lifetime..
How could i not go?? Maybe exams.. But in exchange for an experience of a lifetime?? No way!
It was fun to be there, soaked in da atmosphere, watching soccer match, cheering and booing together as a country, doing da kallang wave, shouting "Bu Tok" at the thais.. It is fun! And i realise each time i come to national stadium to watch match, sumthing dramatic will happen..
I only watch 2 matches at kallang stadium in my lifetime.. One is yst's game and da other was da semi final of Tiger Cup (Now ASEAN Cup) 2 years ago. Da match 2 years ago was Singapore v.s Myanmar.. ANd da drama was that the myanmar coach threw a bottle of water at our player, Subramani, and u cld see da impact as da water burst as it hit out player.. How drama is dat.. In de end, the coach got send off, and another of their player as well... Drama Mama...
So what was da drama yst? It was seeing a whole national team walking out of da pitch during the game and whats worse is that the coach ask the players to stop playing.. This started becos of a contraversial penalty which was given to Singapore..
Professionals say that it Thais have over reacted and such decisions will happen.. And they got to learn to accept it.. Singaporean fans say the thais shouldnt have walked out and that the referee wasnt good.. Thai fans say the referee was unfair and that there was no point playing also if its a unfair game. A particular thai fan said its the first time the thai coach has asked the players to stop playing. Normally he doesnt encourage such behaviour. Singapore played rough from the start.
This proves the point that a man will always tink he is right.. Thai fans din even criticise their team for being unprofessional and walk off the pitch like that.. No matter what referees do to you, you play on, you want to protest, after the game, complain to the higher officials.. They dun understand what sportsmanship is.. In my opinion, the referee made some bad calls for singapore also.. The referee wasnt bias.. Thais were simply unprofessional.. Imagine if EPL is like that.. Teams just walk away after a bad decision.. WTH!! That will just make u look more like a loser..
So thats abt it.. Enuf of commenting abt da match.. So aft the game, we went simpang to eat.. Me, leslie, hj, Ming, lucas, and another chc tp gal.. Din study for da test at all yet.. haven even start on project also... GG!!
