Here is gone..

My birthday is over!! I would describe this year's birthday as unexpected and also great..

I have this thinking that big days like valentine's day or birthdays or mother's day are quite meaningless.. You don't need valentine's day to show how much you love your lover.. You dont need birthdays to appreciate your friend's existence.. and you sure dont need mother's day to be filial son/daughter.. I am not being a sadist by saying it is meaningless, but i feel i dont need an excuse or rather a special day to treat someone extra nice..

But thats me.. The practical guy.. You can tell i aint romantic also.. haha.. But i know how to treat my gf right!

So normally i dont really expect much in a birthday.. but of cos gifts are always welcome.. I would never say no to a gift.......... Okay, i take back my word.. Not all gifts i would say yes to.. haha..

Back to the point, im just saying i am not expecting a big celebration for my birthday.. A usual dinner and cake would do just fine with me.. But although people dont say it out, deep down inside, they secretly, unexpectedly, unknowingly do expect something diff every year during their birthday.. Just like how Harry Potter's cousin started to throw tantrums when he found out that he did not have more presents during his birthday as compared to last year..

So this year was a good birthday, just cos of that surprise element..

My bro bought me a gift!! Its the first time he ever bought a birthday gift for me.. Its almost equivalent to me having 6 pack.. haha.. Although the gift wasnt totally satisfying, (he bought me a sticker book of man utd, but is last season!), but totally unexpected.. Sometimes, its not about how good a celebration is, but is about the amount of effort that you place, that make a birthday great to enjoy..

So anyway, hp,van, amos and darling celebrated my birthday at nite, ate pizzas and played monopoly.. Amos may declare it, van may try to fight it, but I was the winner.. I dont care also.. I insist i am the winner.. I own more plots of land than anybody else.. I also had alot of money.. Dont care.. INSIST! haha..

Hp din have his usual luck with him, this time lady luck was with me! Normally, hp would be the one with the most land, but that day he just swuay, keep kanna amos property.. I think cos my birthday la, den God dont want to make me feel sad, so give me all the "luck".. haha..

Nvm, till next monopoly session.. I shall rule monopoly!! MUHAHAHA
