Things to bring
  • Wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. Preferably, you should wear dark clothing with long sleeves. Don't worry about the paint splats as it will wash out easily in normal washing, but you'll be running, crawling, crouching and kneeling a lot. Better to be comfortable than stylish.
  • Wear a baseball cap for head protection.
  • Wear a scarf for neck protection.
  • Wear good outdoor shoes that provide ankle support. Sprained ankles are the #1 cause of injury in many sports and Paintball is no exception. Having good ankle support reduces the risk of injury.
  • Bring some snacks and LOTS OF DRINKS. We have drinks available for sale. Keep in mind that soft drinks are not good to drink when exercising. Stick to water, juice or sports drinks. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED AT ALL TIME.
  • Bring Sun Block as it can get very hot during a game and getting sun burnt is not a nice experience.
  • Bring Insect Repellent as the game is played outdoors on a grass field.
  • Bring enough money for extra Paintball. Plan on shooting 200-300 Paintballs per person during the event. Some people shoot more, some shoot less. It's all in how you play. We accept cash and NETS only.
  • Bring your Driver's License or IC for verification of Age. By Law, all players must be 18 years or older. Minors of 14 to 17 must have our waiver signed by their parent. Waiver for minors can be obtained from our website. Proof of age must be provided prior to play.
  • A change of clothes is always nice, since you'll be getting dirty and sweaty by the end of the day. Bring a towel along as Orchid Country Club has shower facilities located only at the Golf Driving Range. The Golf Clubhouse, Hotel and Social Clubhouse are strictly out of bounds to non-members.

Typical day of paintball
  • Registration of players.

  • Orientation of Safety Procedures, Rules of Conduct and Game Scenarios.

  • Expert Paintgun instruction are then given to ensure the players gain a good working knowledge of their equipment.
  • Players are issued with Safety Gear e.g. Masks and Chest Protectors.

  • Paintgun with Paintballs are issued.

  • Players try out their Paintguns at the shooting Range.

  • Two teams are lead into the game area.

  • The teams separate and take a moment to discuss strategy and tactics.
  • The referee signals for play to begin.

  • The referee sounds the siren and the game begins.

  • Game last for a maximum of 15 minutes.
  • The refere sounds the siren and the game ends.
I believe this is the competition format.. There is also the "for fun" format.. Where there is no scoring or winner.. SO just anyhow shoot ppl only..

The competition format is like this :
The objective of the game is simple, shoot down two targets on the opponents’ side of the field (1st mission), then capture your teams ammo box on your side of the field (2nd mission) and get it back to your homebase without getting shot!

Paintball consists of 2 teams. The teams will start at their homebases located at opposite ends of the playing field. At the sound of a siren, both teams will charge out from their homebases and try to achieve the missions given. Their first mission is to shoot down two targets on the opponents’ side of the field. Only when both opposite targets are shot down, the team can then achieve their second mission by retrieving the ammo box located on their side of the field.

One of the targets needed to take down

Using the covers on the field for protection, together with teamwork, coordination and strategy, the teams have to meet the objectives while trying to prevent their opponents from doing likewise. The team that gets their ammo box back to their homebase first wins. You are out when you take a direct hit from either a friendly or an opponent's paintball shot. A shot is considered any part of the body (hands, legs, shoes, etc). It takes only one hit for you to be considered shot. Once shot, declare it out loud. (ARGH!! KNN AH!!) <-- i added it.. hahaha

Move quickly with your gun above your head out of the line of fire as game play will not be stopped for you. Run to either side of the field (as its usually out of the line of fire) and head back to your halfway house. Go into your halfway house, do a U turn and continue playing the game.

I believe the halfway house is the hut behind..

If you've got your team's ammo box in hand but you get shot, put the ammo box down at that spot and declare yourself out. Run back into your halfway house and continue playing the game. It is then up to your teammates or you to get the ammo box back to the homebase. A game duration is between 1 to 10 minutes. For a group of 20 players & below, the group will have the field for approximately 2 hours. The group can play as many games within the allocated time.

Ammo Box

So how?? Please give me your feedback on the game.. Are we gonna go for it??

We need to come up with a list of people to invite.. I'm thinking 10ppl max.. 2 teams of 5..
