Rollercoaster..

Battery exercise just end.. And it was slack for me.. Cos i am the ammo party.. I am in charge of the ammo, and since local exercise cannot fire, i mean, singapore is so small, shoot where sia? So no ammo was used and that equals slack jack.. I just had to be there for a few hours to witness how a simulated exercise wld look like, den rest in bunk liao.. Power la.. BUT, wonder if battlelion exercise wld be the same?? Scarly sai kang party, den ho sei liao..

After the exercise, came the fun part.. Washing of the gun.. Washing of the gun is nothing like washing of a car.. Cos the gun wld have mud,shit,sand,rocks,leaves,branches and everything u can find at a forested area.. And it's bloody smelly.. The worst thing about it?? Crawling underneath the gun to wash.. WAH SIAN one i tell u.. really is banglah job.. Normally, washing gun wld also mean water hose fight.. and the pressure is quite strong one.. Cos we need it to get the mud out.. And water hose fight can be damm fun.. Seriously, damm fun.. But at the end of it, everywhere wet, top, bottom, socks, boots and even underwear.. soaking wet..

And i finally ate Astons!! The Cathay's outlet.. my friend drove there during our nights out.. The funny thing was, we were all kidding about going there, cos the traffic could be bad and the queue there as well.. But we just ended up going there.. Dunno how that happened.. haha.. I shared wif my friend ribeye steak and honey bourbon ribs.. The ribs really power sia.. seriously.. ownage kind.. ahaha.. And plain water cost 30cents there.. My friend explained that actually astons is a coffeeshop then became like this.. And coffeeshop, ice water or ice kosong, cost 30cents, that is why.. Interesting fact right.. or maybe i'm the last to know?? damm..

I signed up for a inter-unit soccer competition, but no reply came back yet.. BUT!!!! There is inter-battery competition next thurs and fri.. At first, all the sgts took leave on those days, but my dear sgt major called all of them back and compensate their leave wif off becos he wanted to win it.. LOL.. Swuay sia my sgts.. At first i was already deciding on a all men team.. Just go there play for fun.. Cos the men side only a few can play properly, others just kick the ball rather aimlessly.. I tot, we put our star player up front while me n my other friend who can play rather well defend.. Den we just keep pumping balls forward for them to chase.. It could have worked, but i wont be testing it.. haha..

Let me break it down for u, we are prob the lousiest battery.. Cos bravo, most of the men,sgts and sirs play soccer.. Hq, has a big pool of men, sgts n sirs, so i wld expect better of them.. Charlie is supposedly only not so far from bravo.. Whereas my battery, Alpha, only a few men can play, and the rest are made up by sirs n sgts who are not so good.. So the chances of us winning, not very high, but i like the underdog tag.. Cos no pressure to prove anything.. But the worst thing really is that we were told so late.. Only yst den i knew about it.. Hq prob knew it like last week?? Cos they already printed out a poster for soccer tryouts in the battery.. So we nvr train or plan any tactics.. Den oh ya, nxt week, i'll be on leave from mon to wed.. So u see why no time la.. basket, stupid HQ, tell us so late.. Best liao..

And i was just complaning to van, damm army always like to tell stuff to us last minute.. U may think that army is a damm organised placed.. I mean it is so bloody regimental, so many rules and stuff.. but it is a bloody messed up place.. Everything for my battery is so bloody last minute.. Nights out, only that evening itself, before dinner, den we know we got nights out.. Like how to plan?? Hello?? If we had girlfriends that stay a little far, den die already la.. Or how abt my clearing of leave now.. As some may have known, my leave is not under my control now.. Cos my schedule is too tight, cant choose the dates to take leave myself.. So my sgt major wld give us free time to clear, which means that week not much activity then clear.. And they wld tell us like less than one week in advance.. Like what's the point of taking leave when u dont have programmes?? Ppl take leave to go hols or what one le.. I take leave is stay at home n rot la.. Wth man.. Really, very du lan with the army le..

And this week has been like a rollercoaster ride for me.. Sometimes the feelings is good, sometimes the feeling is like shit.. Hearing the news of playing inter-battery soccer made me glad.. that's one e.g.. Knowing that my sgt major controls my leave, that is one sucky one..

And i was really very affected by something.. And it made me think alot and think until very far also.. But i really dont 1 2 talk abt it here.. So.. ya..
